This contest is open to Massachusetts middle and high school students. The Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) is serious stuff...


Together we can help educate the public about the importance of everyone's Mental Health.

Individuals or Teams are eligible to participate

Contest Period: May 19th - May 31st, 2020

The Massachusetts Health Council (MHC) and Massachusetts Association for Mental Health (MAMH) will review each video submission and the winners will be announced in June, 2020 on MHC’s website. Submissions must:

· be original, created solely by the individual/group

· be between 20-60 seconds

· focus on how to take care of your mental health during the COVID-19 virus and why it is so important - feel free to use some of the tips from Mass.gov: Managing Isolation and Loneliness During COVID-19

· not display, encourage or incite any dangerous, hazardous or unlawful behavior and be suitable for publication.

MHC & MAMH leadership will review each submission and reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not follow the guidelines.

No personal, identifying information from any contestant age 13 or under will be retained by MHC.

The Grand Prize is $250, 2nd and 3rd place = $100 and Honorable Mentions = $50! MHC will contact you and your parent or guardian, if under 18, by email to distribute the winning check. Many videos will be  featured on MHC’s homepage and/or shared on social media.
